Choice from the heart – Your purchases have made the difference

During Advent 2025, every purchase in the GIFAS online store was twice as valuable. From December 1 to 24, 2% of every online order was donated to our Advent campaign «Choice from the heart 2025 – Your purchase makes the difference»

With every order, our customers were able to choose from three organizations selected by GIFAS which they would like to support with their purchase. We have now been able to hand over the collected donations in person - a fitting end to a campaign that has achieved a great deal together.

Three organizations – concrete support

A total of over CHF 8’000.– was raised in donations. We were able to hand over these amounts to the three organizations:

  • Children's Cancer Aid Switzerland: CHF 4’489.45
  • PluSport Behindertensport Schweiz: CHF 1’905.60
  • ProTier Switzerland: CHF 1’651.65

Each of these organizations does valuable work for people and animals in need of support.

What we particularly like about the Herzenswahl: Our customers were able to consciously decide which of the three organizations should receive their donation from the online purchase. In this way, each order became more than just a product - it became a tangible contribution to social commitment.

Swiss Children's Cancer Aid

Being strong together – for families with a child affected by cancer

When the diagnosis “Your child has cancer” changes everything, Childhood Cancer Aid Switzerland is there – simple, direct and personal, by those affected for those affected. We accompany families during and after therapy and face these challenging times together.

Through varied activities, holidays and excursions, we create valuable moments of respite that bring energy and light back into everyday life. In addition to medical support, we provide direct and promt financial assistance to complement public aid.

We also support bereaved “star child” families with compassion and opportunities for exchange, helping them on their path through grief. In the follow-up phase, we continue to assist families so that children, siblings and parents regain strength and balance in everyday life.

PluSport - sport connects us  

For more than 60 years, PluSport has been Switzerland’s national competence centre for disability sports. As the head organisation, PluSport promotes sports for people with disabilities – from recreational to elite levels.

Through over 80 regional clubs and around 110 annual sports camps, children, young people and adults with disabilities have the opportunity to be active, discover new experiences and share a sense of community. Our goal is to make movement and sport accessible to everyone – regardless of age or disability.

PluSport also provides education and training in disability sports, runs awareness programs for organisations, and supports top athletes all the way to international competitions.

Together, we create inclusion, connection and joy of life through sport.

ProTier  

ProTier – Foundation for Animal Welfare and Ethics (formerly known as the Swiss Society for Animal Welfare) has been campaigning for the fair and ethical treatment of animals through its own projects and campaigns for over 75 years.

The foundation's aim is to promote animal welfare in all its forms. There are always new tasks and opportunities that need to be addressed. We see it as our duty to address these issues. For many years, ProTier has been particularly committed to animal sanctuaries and rescue centres in Switzerland. These sanctuaries are often the last hope for animals that nobody wants, that have been neglected or that have reached the end of their ‘economic usefulness’.

We are actively committed to improving and sustainably implementing animal welfare in practice and fight against mistreatment of animals and animal suffering. We are committed to species-appropriate living and housing conditions for animals and to respecting and honouring them as sentient beings capable of suffering.
