Expansion of Buholz wastewater
New rainwater clarification basin/Rothenburg
pumping station equipped with durable GIFAS equipment
Sewage treatment plants clean our wastewater and return it to the environment. However, during heavy rainfall, the system reaches its limits – and untreated wastewater regularly ends up in our waterways. This is due to the combined sewer system, in which rainwater and wastewater flow together. To reduce the burden on the system, a new collection basin was built in Emmen.
