System-tested emergency lighting for self-rescue measures – optimally prepared for an emergency

Initial situation

Safety lighting for the evacuation of people from the tunnel had to be  implemented on the basis of the standards of the SBB and the fire protection requirements. In this special case, the hand rails were mounted directly on the wall and also on free-standing poles – standardised and tested for the event of a fire. Socket distributors for maintenance, auxiliary lighting for safety recesses, maintenance lighting and basic lighting were also integrated. Everything from one source of supply, planned and executed together with the electrical contractor!
