Well-designed and robust floor outlets

Meeting the requirements of the architect, the power supply in the Serlachius Museum of Fine Arts in Goesta (FI) is unremarkable and discreet.

Initial position

For the prestigious extension building of the Serlachius Museum of Fine Arts in Gösta (Finland), architectural requirements in particular were a decisive factor. The floor distributors should be as small as possible and also integrated in the floor surface. The architect also demanded that the housing colour should perfectly match the black floor surface. GIFAS also fulfilled this requirement to the fullest satisfaction – with black anodised housings.

Thanks to the excellent cooperation with our partner on site, we were able to realise a custom solution. The entire power supply was seamlessly and discreetly integrated in the exhibition floor of the museum in order to ensure the supply of power for the exhibitions, maintenance and cleaning crew. In total, 126 pieces of FONTO „Q120KA“ were fitted and mounted with one earthed socket outlet or two RJ45 socket outlets.
